Power Allocation for IRS-Aided Two-Way Decode-and-Forward Relay Wireless Network

In this paper, an intelligent reflecting surface (IRS)-aided two-way decode-and-forward (DF) relay wireless network is considered, where two users exchange information via IRS and DF relay. To enhance the sum rate performance, three power allocation (PA) strategies are proposed. Firstly, a maximizing method based on successive convex approximation (Max-SR-SCA) proposed to jointly optimize PA factors of user1 ( $U_{1}$ ), user2 notation="LaTeX">$U_{2}$ ) station (RS). further improve determinant (Max-Det) with higher enhancement presented. Considering asymmetry rates caused by channel quality users' demand, constraint (Max-SR-RC) put forward. Simulation results show that methods not only outperform equal (EPA) method, but also corresponding slightly lower than optimal exhaustive search (ES) method. Especially for Max-SR-RC its gain over EPA up 64.7% gap ES less 0.1bits/s/Hz. Furthermore, it verified total random shadow variable notation="LaTeX">$X_\sigma$ have substantial impact rate.
